WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is the global standard used since 2017 to measure vehicle emissions and range under controlled lab conditions. It replaced the older, less realistic NEDC test.
Modern PHEVs offer WLTP electric ranges of 60–130 km, depending on battery size (10–25 kWh) and vehicle weight.
Formula: Electric range = Usable battery capacity (kWh) ÷ Energy consumption (kWh/100km) × 100
Example — Skoda Kodiaq iV: 25.7 kWh usable ÷ 20 kWh/100km × 100 = ~128 km WLTP
